Meet the Alloy GCR2000LC, a smart little device that helps you connect your regular computer network cables (like the ones for your home internet) to super-fast fiber optic cables. It's called a Gigabit Media Converter because it works with really quick 'Gigabit' network speeds.

This handy converter can be used in two ways. You can set it up by itself on your desk, or if you have a special rack for network gear, you can easily slide it in there with other devices. This makes it super flexible for many different network setups, whether you're at home or in a busy office.

The GCR2000LC takes your standard copper Ethernet connection (up to 100 meters) and converts it into a fiber optic signal, letting you extend your network much further – up to 550 meters using multimode fiber with LC connectors. It's perfect for when you need to connect two parts of a building or campus over a longer distance than standard cables allow.

It's built tough with a metal case and is easy to install. You can power it with an external plug or even a USB connection. This means you get a reliable, high-speed connection that's simple to set up and manage
