The Alloy GCR2000SFP is a powerful Gigabit Ethernet media converter designed to easily bridge the gap between your existing copper network and a new fiber optic connection. This versatile device supports super-fast Gigabit speeds, ensuring quick and efficient data transfer across your network.

You can use the GCR2000SFP as a convenient standalone unit for single connections, or install it into an Alloy DCR12 Series chassis for a more organized, rack-mounted setup. Its key feature is the flexible SFP slot, which lets you pick almost any mini-GBIC module you need. This means you can choose the exact fiber type (like multimode or singlemode) and connector (LC, SC) for your project, even supporting incredibly long fiber connections up to 120 kilometers.

Setting it up is simple, especially with a DCR12 chassis thanks to its 'Slide-in, Hot Swap' design. It also includes smart features like Link Fault Passthrough to help you quickly identify and fix network issues. Built with a tough all-metal case and powered by an external plugpack or even a USB connection, this reliable Gigabit SFP media converter is designed to last and keep your network running smoothly
