This smart device acts as a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), meaning it can send power along with data over your regular network cables (UTP) to devices like IP phones or security cameras. It automatically finds your PoE devices, powers them up to 15.4 watts, and keeps an eye on the power supply to prevent issues.

This converter also works like a bridge, turning your standard copper network signal into a fiber optic signal, and back again. It's designed for singlemode fiber, letting you connect devices up to 40 kilometers away at Fast Ethernet speeds (100Mbps). This is perfect for connecting buildings or remote areas where traditional copper cables can't reach.

The POE200SC.20 comes with clever features to protect your network. It monitors power to prevent over- or under-currents and faults. Plus, it has 'Link Fault Passthrough' (LFP). This means if one part of your network connection fails (like a cut fiber cable), the converter will tell the other side, stopping data from being sent into a 'dead end.' This prevents lost data and helps you find network problems faster.
