This allows your data to travel reliably up to 2 kilometers (that's about 1.2 miles) over multimode fibre cables without losing quality.

This versatile Serial to Fibre Converter is super flexible. You can use it as a standalone unit on your desk or easily slide it into an Alloy DCR12 Series rackmount chassis if you need to manage multiple converters in one place. It connects to your serial equipment using a sturdy terminal block and uses a standard SC connector for your fibre optic cable.

Setting it up is simple, too. The SCR460SC-2 automatically detects your serial signal's speed (up to 460.8K) and direction, so you don't have to fiddle with complicated settings.
