This APC Switched Metered Rack PDU gives you smart, remote control over the power in your server rack. You can turn individual outlets on or off, which is super handy for restarting frozen equipment without having to be physically present. It also helps prevent unauthorized use of specific outlets.

The PDU lets you define the order in which your equipment powers up or down, preventing all devices from trying to start at once. This avoids circuit overloads, keeps your critical systems running smoothly, and extends their uptime. You'll get real-time monitoring of how much power each connected device is using, accessible remotely.

Advanced features include real power monitoring, a port for a temperature/humidity sensor to help you keep an eye on your environment, and secure locking IEC receptacles to prevent accidental unplugging. You can set up user-defined alarms to warn you of potential circuit overloads before they become critical problems. Manage this black PDU securely through web interfaces, SNMP, or Telnet, and integrate it with APC's centralized management platforms. It comes with a 3-meter power cord, rack mounting brackets, a CAN port terminator, and a serial configuration cable
