The Aten HDBaseT HDMI Receiver is a smart device that lets you send high-quality HDMI video and audio signals over long distances using just one network cable (like a Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat7 cable). It works seamlessly with an HDBaseT transmitter (sold separately) to extend your display setup without any loss in picture or sound quality.

One of its key features is Audio De-Embedding, which means it can take the audio out of the HDMI signal. This is super handy if you want to send the sound to a separate sound system, amplifier, or speakers while the video goes to your TV or projector.

It also supports Bi-directional PoH (Power over HDBaseT). This clever function means you only need to power one end of your installation (either the receiver or the transmitter), and the power travels through the HDBaseT cable to the other device. This makes installation much simpler, cleaner, and reduces the number of power adapters you need. It's an ideal solution for professional AV setups, conference rooms, home theaters, or any scenario where you need reliable, long-distance HDMI transmission with flexible audio management
