Need to connect your standard copper Ethernet network to a fiber optic cable? The GCR2000SC is a powerful Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter designed to make that easy. This smart device changes your regular 1000Base-T (copper) Ethernet signal into a super-fast 1000Base-SX (multimode fiber) signal, allowing you to send data much further than traditional network cables.

It comes with an SC port specifically for multimode fiber optic cables, letting you extend your network up to 550 meters – that’s more than half a kilometer! This is perfect whether you need to link different buildings, connect devices across a large warehouse, or just go beyond the distance limits of copper cables.

You can use the GCR2000SC as a standalone unit, which is ideal for single, direct connections. Or, if you're building a larger network system, it can easily fit into an Alloy DCR12 Series Media Converter Chassis. This gives you flexibility and options for managing multiple connections. It’s built to provide a stable, high-speed link between your Ethernet and fiber networks, ensuring your data flows smoothly
