Keep your important equipment running smoothly without ever having to turn it off for maintenance. The PowerShield 7-Outlet Maintenance Bypass Switch (MBS) with a built-in Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is designed to ensure continuous power for your UPS system and connected devices.

This essential device lets you perform routine maintenance on your Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) at any time, day or night, without causing any downtime for your critical equipment. Imagine changing out a UPS battery or performing a system check without your servers or computers skipping a beat!

The integrated PDU provides 7 power outlets, distributing power efficiently to your load. This means your devices get the power they need reliably.

Setting up the PowerShield MBS is flexible and easy. You can mount it directly into your server rack, either horizontally or vertically (it's 0RU, meaning it doesn't take up any valuable rack space if mounted vertically). If a rack isn't an option, you can also securely mount it on a wall, again in either orientation, to fit your space perfectly.

For seamless integration, this bypass switch is specifically designed to attach to PowerShield Centurion RT and Commander RT range UPS systems. Plus, it’s compatible with all types of UPS technologies, including offline, line interactive, and true online double conversion UPS topologies. This makes it a versatile solution for almost any modern UPS setup, ensuring your power delivery remains robust and uninterrupted.
